My stay at De Waterkant House was a mixed bag. The location was perfect for exploring Cape Town, but the room left much to be desired. I appreciated the food voucher, though the overall ambiance could have been better.

Rooms
5.0
The room wasn't clean, especially the carpet. It felt cramped with two three-quarter beds pushed together, and there was no air-conditioning which was uncomfortable.
Service
7.0
Check-in was confusing since it occurred at a different location. However, staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

I enjoyed breakfast at a couple of nearby cafes. The Village Cafe offered cozy vibes and delicious organic jams. The food voucher was a nice touch!
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were basic, and the lack of air-conditioning in my room was disappointing. It felt more like a flat than a boutique hotel experience.

I had a nice stay at De Waterkant House, especially due to its central location close to the main attractions. However, the room was a bit cramped, which made it tricky for two beds. The dining options were decent, though I wish there was something on-site.

Overall, my stay at De Waterkant House had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to attractions and a tasty food voucher to use at nearby spots. However, the room was disappointingly small, with limited space for luggage and toiletries. The service was decent, though not extraordinary.

Rooms

My room was very small, almost cramped. I found it nearly impossible to organize my belongings, and there was hardly any space for my luggage or toiletries in the bathroom.

Service was decent overall, though not amazing. I appreciated the efficiency, but there was nothing that truly stood out as really good.

I had a decent stay at De Waterkant House. The location is pretty sweet, close to the CBD yet still quiet, but the room was disappointingly small. However, the clean and functional space made up a bit for it. Overall, I'd say it's solid for the price.

Rooms
6.0
The room was really tiny, with almost no space for my luggage, and the bathroom was just as cramped. It felt basic and in need of an update, but at least it was clean and functional.
Service

De Waterkant House has a fantastic location, making it easy to explore Cape Town, but the room I had was a bit disappointing. It was quite small and not very clean, especially the carpet. The service was good overall, and I appreciated the R60 food voucher options nearby.

Rooms
5.0
My room was very basic and small, with almost no space for luggage. The carpet wasn't clean, and I couldn't find space to leave my toiletries in the bathroom. There weren't built-in cupboards either, which made it less convenient.
Service
8.0
The service I received during my stay was amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which did enhance my experience.
Location
9.0
The location is very central, ideal for excursions in the Cape Town area. I loved how I could easily get around to Sea Point, the Waterfront, and the CBD.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed dining at the cozy Village Cafe, which is just down the street. It offers great Mediterranean dishes, and the nearby cafes had fun options too.
Facilities
6.0
While the common areas were nice, my room didn't have air conditioning, and the proximity to the kitchen wasn't ideal for privacy.
