My stay at De Waterkant House was a mixed bag. The location was perfect for exploring Cape Town, but the room left much to be desired. I appreciated the food voucher, though the overall ambiance could have been better.

The room wasn't clean, especially the carpet. It felt cramped with two three-quarter beds pushed together, and there was no air-conditioning which was uncomfortable.

Check-in was confusing since it occurred at a different location. However, staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The facilities were basic, and the lack of air-conditioning in my room was disappointing. It felt more like a flat than a boutique hotel experience.

Overall, my stay at De Waterkant House had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to attractions and a tasty food voucher to use at nearby spots. However, the room was disappointingly small, with limited space for luggage and toiletries. The service was decent, though not extraordinary.

I had a decent stay at De Waterkant House. The location is pretty sweet, close to the CBD yet still quiet, but the room was disappointingly small. However, the clean and functional space made up a bit for it. Overall, I'd say it's solid for the price.
